In this page I report some conversations I had as a clothing manufacturer consultant with contacts in the USA and Canada.
These conversations have seemed important to me because in my mind, they help identify the current Fashion Trends or the commercial / business interest for a type of clothes.



Feb / March 2009: In difficult worlwide economic conditions, it seems that the fashion for pregnant professional women is doing pretty well.

The demand for small runs of clothes at competitive price is stronger than ever. We have identified some gaps in our information systems that we can improve to make better and smaller runs of clothes.

Hello, I just spoke to you about the denim pattes that I want to use I also want blue jeans. I want the female jeans to be skinny jeans and the male jeans to be regular nice cut jeans with a flare at the bottom like true religion.
I want 100 hundred pairs: 50 female,50 pair male. The denim samples on right side going down use each one for the female skinny jeans and the denim samples on left going down use for male jeans. Use each denim sample for only 10 pair of jeans for
male jeans I need two of each size starting at 32 to 40 and same with female skinny jeans. On the back pocket of the male jeans I want you to embroid a diamond in five
different colors black,red,blue,yellow,brown and put the logo on the front right leg under the pocket of the male jeans matching the color of the diamond on the back. I want all jeans to be button up in the fly no zipper.


I would like men jackets samples to be made by you guys. I have sent you a picture of my jackets, they are really in fashion in my area. Can you help me? I need 5 samples, the fabric would be shiney nylon on the outside and a cotton feel on the inside.
The colors would be black on red for one jacket and red on black for the other. I was thinking maybe 3 black on red and 2 red on black. As far as the sizes go just medium and large. Oh yes, and the sizes would be in men's too.

Hello, I am looking into starting a tee shirt business. I am looking for a company to manufacture my T-shirt designs and ship them to me on a regular basis. What do you guys charge per shirt? Also do you
charge for direct shipping? Also do you have some type of design studio where I can design shirts, or do I give you the designs directly?


A client from Ohio demanded Jersey, Hoody, Headband and wristband with his logo.
Here are the Fabric he wants to use on items: T-Shirts: 53% Polyester/47% Cotton and the Logo and words on back I would like Quality Screen Print. Hoody: 80%Cotton/20% Polyester Logo Quality Screen Print
Shorts: 100% Polyester Or 100% Nylon depending on request also Logo is to be Electric Embroidery and words on back of shorts is to be Electric Embroidery also make sure waist is good elastic with drawstrings inside waistband also
He wants pockets on shorts.
I've got a feeling that shorts are more fashionable this year than they were last year.

A supplier of high school uniform in Washington D.C is looking for 5000 pieces of military shirts for children size
8, 10, 12, 14. Fabric: 100% cotton, green color with the logo of school to be embroidered on the left chest.


A garden designer from Texas requires 200 tshirts, crew neck cut for his own employees. The fabric is 100% cotton or
any suggestion about this is appreciated, color white with a 16x4 inches logo to be screen printed on back. The pricing
expectation is around 6$ including shipping


A shop owner from Colorado would like to send his samples of fashion t-shirts for his 2009 Spring Collection for reproducing. He would like
the quote for 200 each style, also the quote for samples first. All are 90% cotton, 10% spandex, multicolor logo to be
printed, label, hanging card, packaging are also required. He will send a disc of logo specs if that helps.


A designer from Virginia asked for her dress design to be made. It will be 100% silk, gold leaves attached and diamond
to be embroidered on chest. there is a waistband which is the same material but different color It must be a high
quality silk with perfect cutting and sewing. The budget is within 300$ for each including shipping.


A young (15 year old) designer from Florida ask for help with her jeans designs. All have to be made of denim, high quality,
her name design to be embroidered in plate on back pockets, and double stitching on waist and front pockets. She will
provide accessories such as rivets, button, zip if have a suitable quote for samples.


One female client has a boutique in New Mexico sends samples of women clothes : pants, suit, dress and skirt. She asked to use
these as bluesprint for making 160 units each item, 4 sizes (40 of each S, M, L, XL). All in black, no logo printed or
embroidered. She will tell more details as we receive samples.

A client from the USA asked for women t-shirt samples with his own logo to be embroidered on the lower front bottom.

A client from Washiington DC - USA demanded 47 pairs of jeans for men and women with her logo printed and embroidered on pockets.

A client from Florida asked for t-shirt samples, 100% cotton, full printing.


A client from the USA asked to give him a quote for 100% silk handkerchiefs with 2 small logos printed.
for 200 units: $4.5 per piece
for 500 units: $3.8 per piece (FOB price)
He felt excited hearing the prices
